In Memphis, Sergeant Mitch Oliver and his team respond to the murder of a man shot in his car while parked at a local mini market. In order to track down their shooter, detectives must rely on witnesses who sometimes hide more than they reveal. In the second case, Phoenix police respond to a call reporting a man down in the parking lot of a bar. When they arrive, they find the man is dead.
