In his early thirties, Vincent works for the Meurthe-et-Moselle department and has just been dumped by his girlfriend Louise, who also happens to be his boss. Alban, 45, still lives with his mother and works in the same office as Vincent. After answering a cell phone left behind at the scene of a car accident, Vincent and Alban find themselves entangled in a dangerous criminal plot that turns their lives upside down.

He hears a woman screaming and a threatening voice saying, “If you're not there by 5 p.m., we'll kill your wife.” Alban, his 45-year-old colleague with a fiery temperament, already sees himself as the hero of the day and urges Vincent to take action. - Episode 2

Suspecting the two colleagues of stealing the ransom money, he condemns them to certain death by forcing them to take an empty briefcase to the meeting place set by the kidnappers, dangerous members of an Albanian gang. - Episode 4

Victims of blackmail, they have no choice but to retrieve a music box by breaking into the home of Marat Milankovitch, an extremely dangerous Russian oligarch.
