S2 • E14 Jan 4, 1952 30mGene and Pat catch a gunslinger, who was on his way to a secret rendezvous. Gene goes to investigate, leaving Pat to take Jackson to jail. Gene goes to the cabin where Jackson was supposed to rendezvous, and finds himself knocked unconscious. The sheriff, and Sam Taggert have Gene arrestes for killing a man, but Sam is behind the whole thing, who wanted his boss killed, so he could have Jackson hired. Gene breaks out of jail, and he and Pat ride off to find the real criminals. On their way, Sam's men ambushed them. Sam rides back to town, when Gene closely behind him, bringing him in.
