Season One of Paul Jeffrey Davids's new kid's series "The Grand Kingdom of Cookieland" takes place in a fantasy world of puppets. The story follows the investigations of tween detective Dory Vale (Mia Fernald), who is on the case to discover who turned Queen Gumdrop and King Cookiecrumble into birds. Armed with her trusty lie detector, she speaks with the many puppets (including a raven, bunny, bear, alligator, chicken, penguin - and even pirates and a clown) to find out who knows what - and to learn "whodunnit." Along the way, she must teach the unruly and mischievous ones about having good manners, telling the truth, respecting authority, honoring one's parents, not bullying others and about friendship and loyalty and more.
