Ten home baking enthusiasts will be put through a series of grueling elimination challenges, baking a mouth-watering selection of cakes, pies, tarts, pastries, bread, biscuits and desserts, all in the hope of being crowned Australia's Best Home Baker.

Tropical Week

Tropical WeekFor Tropical Week the Signature Challenge is six individual Tropical Fruit Tarts, while the Technical is Rachel' Koo's Tropical Savory Mille Feuille and the Showstopper is three fruity Meringue Bombs.
Little and Large Week

Little and Large WeekFor Little and Large Week the Signature Challenge is a Miniature Tiered Cake, while the Technical is Darren Purchese's Giant Chocolate Eclair and the Showstopper is Biscuit City with each baker filling one block
Japan Week

Japan WeekIt's Japan week, and our remaining amateur bakers tackle Shokupan Buns, a Matcha & Black Sesame Crepe Roll and show off their Double Fromage Cheesecakes.
Earth Week

Earth WeekFor Earth Week the Signature Challenge is a Raw Cake also made without powered appliances, while the Technical is Darren Purchese's Beetroot Tart which will use the whole beetroot, the Showstopper is an Edible Terrarium.
Patisserie Week

Patisserie WeekIt's Patisserie Week as our remaining bakers compete for a spot in the finale, creating an En Croute, a Spiced Charlotte Ruse and Modern Vienoisserie.
Grand Finale

Grand FinaleIn the grand finale, bakers vie for the title with a Top Forward Cake, a Raspberry and Chocolate Entremets and a spectacular Choux-Stopper creation.
