Every episode, a completely new world has to be created within a few days on the basis of a theme. The time pressure, the collaboration and the assembly of the various parts of the model railroad make each episode exciting. Judges Diane Meyboom and Evan Daes look especially at creativity, build quality and technique.

    FilmsThe theme is 'film'. A theme in which the teams have to build a model railway that refers to or is inspired by a certain film in which trains play a role. It is up to the teams to work out this assignment in their own creative way.

    Historische GebeurtenissenThe teams will work with the theme 'Historical Event.' For example, they imitate the fall of the Berlin Wall on their model railroad, they dive into Paris in 1895 and depict the opening of the world's first nuclear power plant in 1954.

    Moeder AardeThe teams show the power and splendor of nature, like a Hawaiian volcano about to erupt. The consequences of the depletion of the earth with a sinkhole. Or what about a meteorite impact or an all-devastating avalanche?
  • Hollands glorie

    Hollands glorieThe three remaining teams are given the task of making a track in the theme 'Dutch Glory'. We see a Dutch breakfast table and the Tilburg fair pass by. A beautiful polder landscape should of course not be missed.
  • The Sky is the Limit

    The Sky is the LimitAn exciting episode, because it is decided which teams will go to the final. The teams face quite a challenge because they have to build in height. The sky's the limit. So expect gravity-defying layouts with various tall structures.
  • Toekomst

    ToekomstThe teams face an extra big challenge. They get one day less to finish the track and in addition they have to connect all previously made tracks and ensure that a train runs over it.
