In 1980, a gang appeared in Kazan, engaged in robberies and murders. Its leader, Vladimir Pustovit, hid his accomplices under the guise of the anti-Soviet Red Brigade organization. Vladimir Pustovit and the chief executioner of the gang, Viktor Osipov, were sentenced to death.
