1946, Leningrad. A wave of disappearances is sweeping through the city. Soon, several bodies of the missing are accidentally found, and then, thanks to the testimony of the wife of one of the disappeared, they also come to the criminal. The killer turns out to be Philip Tyurin, who killed for the sake of awards that he could not get at the front. In total, Tyurin confessed to 29 murders.
