1983, Moscow. In one of the maternity hospitals, Yana Leonova, who recently gave birth to a son, dies from a lethal injection for her. Soon someone kidnaps the child himself. Suspicion falls on Anatoliy, the married lover of the deceased and the father of the kidnapped boy. But the investigation do not have time to interrogate him, as he suddenly dies - someone in the park gave him poison to drink and left him to die.
