S1 • E23 Dec 20, 2010The evil wolf Phaona does whatever he can to spoil Mowgli's chances of passing his hunting training, so that he'll never be good enough to hunt with the pack. Noticing Mowgli's disappointment, the sly jackal Tabaqui tricks him into thinking that a special wishing tree with solve all his problems. Mowgli is doubtful at first, but then decides it can't do any harm to make a wish. What he doesn't know is that Tabaqui is setting him up to be Shere Khan's next dinner.
