Carrie's (Leah Remini) friend Susie (played by Melissa Samuels) and her husband Mike (played by Ben Bode) are over for dinner at the Heffernan's and Carrie invites them to spend Thanksgiving weekend with them. Doug (Kevin James) hates her husband, so he convinces Spence (Patton Oswalt) to move out and stay with them so Carrie's friends can't.
