Three's definitely a crowd for parcel-post deliveryman Doug Heffernan (Kevin James), whose newly-widowed father-in-law Arthur (Jerry Stiller) has moved in with him and his wife Carrie (Leah Remini). Doug's no longer the king of his domain--the renovated basement that houses his beloved supersized TV set--let alone the king of Queens, where he lives. Can they all just get along?

Doug also has trouble sleeping at night so he decides to use Arthur to solve his problems.

Window PainDoug and Carrie get new neighbors who are really clean cut and high class people. When they get to know them Carrie feels that she and Doug are below them. Carrie really begins to care on what they think about them. Arthur keeps thinking of sneaky ways to convince Spence in getting into the subway for free.

While Doug is focused on winning back as many guests as possible, Carrie complains that Doug doesn't think about her enough during the day. Problems arise when Doug tries to throw the ultimate Super Bowl party and prove to Carrie he's an attentive husband.

When Doug realizes they own a house together, he sees the possibility of getting his basement back and he and Carrie having some personal time.

When something like this happens again, Doug starts using Arthur to get the things he wants. Meanwhile, Spence is first in line for an upcoming film.

Bed SpreadDoug and Carrie's bed breaks down and as a temporary solution they borrow the beds from Deacon's children who don't need them anymore. The sleeping apart turns out to be a real eye-opener and they start to do more things by themselves. Meanwhile, Arthur discovers a window in the basement and finds out neighbor Lou Ferrigno is a real gossip.
