This TV series is based on the novel "The Last of the Mohicans" by Fenimore Cooper. Set during the North American colonial wars (1740-1806), the episodes share the adventures of the frontier heroes, noble warriors, descendants of the Mohicans, and English hunters and settlers. The heroes undergo a long journey in the wilderness, managing to overcome the racial and cultural barriers which separate them.
