The Beaudine brother's travel to Rock Springs. They encounter a miner's strike and the company brings in "scabs" to continue the company's work. The company's aim is to replace the white miner's with Chinese laborers. In a secondary storyline, Quentin works alongside a Chinese doctor while Morgan runs into an old flame.
