As Savile's fame starts to grow in the early 1970s, he feels more and more untouchable - despite the rumours about his innapropriate behaviour, and the suicide of a teenage girl who was one of his victims. He also gets a free reign to see patients at Broadmoor and Stoke Mandeville - but the award of an OBE elevates his status in the public eye, as well as his ego.
