When Millie's pretty niece Sally Walker arrives in North Fork for a visit, Mark McCain falls madly in love. She's a nice girl who already has her eyes set on Bruce Henry, a young man she knew from back home and who now has a ranch just a few miles out of town. Mark isn't aware of her interest in Henry and is hurt when he sees the two of them having a picnic. Henry's something of a brute however, something that works to Mark's advantage.
