A beautiful summer morning is marred when a man's body washes up to shore. Crime inspector Thomas Andreasson and colleague Carina Persson are put on the case with very few leads. It soon turns out that the truth behind the murder is more complicated than expected. Based on Viveca Sten's hugely popular crime novel Still Waters, and set in the beautiful surroundings of the outer Stockholm archipelago.

Nadia (1)Nora finds an unconscious woman on the beach during her morning jog. The woman, named Nadia, tells them she has been trafficked, but refuses to go to the police. Alexander is tricked on a blind date.

Nadia (2)The French police show great interest in the abandoned boat that has been found outside Sandhamn. A dead man has washed up on the beach, and it turns out to be a wanted person. Nadia reacts with horror when Nora receives a visit.

Esther (1)Two skeletons are found in an underground cellar. The remains turn out to belong to two young people who disappeared from a confirmation camp 30 years ago. Now everyone from that year group is called in for questioning; including Nora, Henrik and Gisela.

Esther (2)Henrik remembers that Esther pondered a lot about what the Bible really meant in relation to love. Nora feels sad about all the old memories that come up in the police interrogations, and Alexander steps in to support her.
