Big uproar. The king comes to visit and spends the night at the manor. Karen discovers that Lars knows where Rumle lives. They must be careful. The king is impressed by Rasmus' heroic deed and invites him to lunch with the nobles. Rasmus has never tried anything so fine and classy before and when Aage realizes that there is something between Rasmus and Marie Louise, he goes to him.
