The Line

Season 1

The series follow a group of Allied pilots who crashed in occupied territories during WWII. A network of civilians and Résistants, "La Filière", is in charge of helping them pass from France to Spain so they can avoid capture.

  • Episode I
    E1
    Episode IAn Allied plane is shot down near the Belgian border. Two Canadians, members of the crew, manage to jump from the aircraft. Joseph Tardy, the radio navigator, is slightly injured. Léo Crèvecoeur, the gunner, is unharmed. They hide their parachutes and try to find refuge in this region crisscrossed by the Germans .

    Episode IIThe small troop continues its way on second-hand bikes. Leo adapts somehow to this means of transport. Here they are all in Valenciennes. But the cogs of the industry, which seemed so well regulated, creak: the team must go green for a few days to avoid the German patrols .
  • Episode III
    E3
    Episode IIIThe route is complicated for the fugitives. Despite their boarding a train, they are very close to being discovered by Germans still just as suspicious. Their train is diverted by Lorraine.
  • Episode IV
    E4
    Episode IVIt was in a convent that the fugitives found refuge. Marcel, for his part, delighted to finally be in Paris, has taken over his affairs. Tired of the atmosphere of the convent, Leo escapes to join Marcel.
  • Episode V
    E5
    Episode VAn additional fugitive, Belleme, joins the group which takes the train, Gare d'Austerlitz, to "officially" make a pilgrimage to Pellevoisin. On the Quai de Salbris, the Germans are waiting to arrest them.
  • Episode VI
    E6
    Episode VIPommier, local manager of the "sector" must order the dislocation of the group. The next meeting point is fixed. This will be the buffet at the Périgueux station that each will reach separately.
  • Episode VII
    E7
    Episode VIIThe whole team found refuge at the Château de Sauveboeuf. The only thing missing is Roger. The latter ends up arriving and explains to his companions the next stage of their flight. But his information diverges from that given by François.
  • Episode VIII
    E8
    Episode VIIIThe team traitor is unmasked. A tribunal is improvised to judge him with dignity. What to do with him? Opinions differ, but time is running out, the group must continue the journey towards the Spanish border.
