In the absence of his regular driver, Regan is assigned Brian Cooney, whose flair for high-speed driving leads Carter to compare him to Evel Knievel. During a high-speed chase after the Prince gang, Brian's driving causes the death of a gang member. The gang then kidnap Brian's wife in order to put pressure on him to drive for them, but Regan is suspicious.
