The Decepticons discover a golden lagoon filled with electrum. When they enter the lagoons and coat their bodies with it, they become impervious to laser fire. Megatron uses the advantage to capture several Autobots and, later, defeat Omega Supreme. The Autobots locate the lagoon and cover themselves with electrum. They defeat the Decepticons when the effects of the pool wear off.
