Karl and Elise sit amongst reams of evidence pointing towards Karl's friend and ex-colleague, Kieran Ashton. Karl is understandably disturbed but there seems to be something else preying on him. Meanwhile, in France, Karl and Elise head off to interview a former friend of Kieran Ashton's wife. Police work fast to trace bank accounts from Kieran Ashton to his new identity of John Sumner.
