Marc managed to escape the raid on the gorge alive, so Vespasian decides to poison him. He prepares a poison and gives a taste of it to, General Galba, who suspects treason. The poison is very effective and Galba dies instantly. Antoni, horrified by the imminent death of his son Marc, decides to flee with Marc and return to Tarraco with all the stolen gold.
