    13.EpisodeNew residents are coming to Østerby. Mathisen is a Copenhagen contractor with big arm movements who shows up in his Jaguar to look at a house where his mistress can live. Eva and Aksel have moved in together at Strandgården, and Astrid has started going to school again. Unfortunately, she is approached by old contacts from the drug scene in Copenhagen.

    14.EpisodeKaren has had enough of Frank's behavior and has left their home. And now he can't figure out where she is. Eva gets into trouble when an old case resurfaces and threatens the good relationship she's building with Astrid. As Frank heads off on new business adventures, Gerhard also comes into the picture again.

    15.EpisodeAstrid and Eva have had a successful holiday in London. But Eva is plagued by a guilty conscience - there is something she still hasn't told Astrid. Frank still doesn't know where Karen is, but Ingeborg finds out. In return, Frank meets a girl he used to know.

    16.EpisodeAstrid goes to Copenhagen for a job interview with Jørgen, one of Eva's old friends. In Copenhagen, Astrid meets Mikael's lawyer, Thomas, who tells her that he has spoken to Eva prior to Mikael's trial. Astrid begins to suspect that both Eva and Aksel have deceived her.

    17.EpisodeEva seeks out Astrid, but Astrid is furious and rejects her. Since Eva's large sum of money has had fatal consequences for Mikael, Aksel sees his relationship with Eva crumbling. Frank, on the other hand, is on the green and sees success and wealth in the wake of his collaboration with Mathisen - but they still need to have a mayor and a local plan in place.

    18.EpisodeFrank gets into trouble again because of his business dealings with Mathisen. Mikael is found dead in prison of an overdose - after the harsh sentence that Eva could have saved him from. Even though Aksel tried to take the blame, Astrid feels betrayed by Eva - because it was Eva she trusted.
