There is a great tension when Maggie sees Negan, and Carol leaves Alexandria with him in the morning. She tells him that the council banished him on the previous night and takes him to a house where his belongings are. Alone, Negan recalls his life with Lucille when she found that she had cancer. Then their lives after the zombie apocalypse, and how he became the feared Negan, and comes to a conclusion.
