Out of the blue, they are attacked by the Wolves, who slaughter a great many of the residents. Carol, Maggie, Carl, and the survivors try to defend the community. Morgan returns and stops the truck horn that is attracting walkers from blowing and joins the fight.

    Start to FinishRick and the others are split up into separate houses as the walkers start to pour into Alexandria. Deanna finds herself in danger, Glenn tries to find a way in to the safe-zone, and Carol and Morgan have a feud which might lead to trouble for others.

    No Way OutRick's plan doesn't go very well leading to many accidents. Glenn runs into trouble while attempting to save Maggie. The Wolves leader and Denise run into trouble. Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are trying to get home in time to save everyone. The Alexandrians finally learn how to fight.

    The Next WorldAlexandria is short of supplies and Rick and Daryl find a truck loaded of supplies in a storeroom. While driving back to Alexandria, they meet a stranger called Jesus that steals the truck from them. Rick and Daryl track him down and find him on the road with a flat tire. Carl and Enid go to the woods just to walk. Michonne sees Spencer sneaking out Alexandria with a shovel and she decides to go with him. Soon she learns what he is looking for.

    Knots UntieJesus takes Rick and some others to the Hilltop Colony in hopes of establishing trade relations. During that meeting, a community member named Ethan reveals that Negan has killed a few residents on a supply run and has captured his brother.

    Not Tomorrow YetRick and the group head to the saviors camp on a covert mission to fulfill their deal with the hilltop colony, but not everything goes to plan in a violent gunfight against the haunting enemy. Morgan will not fight and Carol is conflicted over Maggie's involvement in the fight. Some of the Group struggle with killing.
