Derrick Campana of Bionic Pets makes prosthetics for animals. He has treated over 25,000 animals including dogs, cats, sheep, goat, llama and a few elephants. Each episode tells two of these stories. One is told during a family's appointment at his office. In the second story, he and his dog Henry travel to the home of a different patient where he uses his mobile workshop to help that animal walk again.

A Moe-ment Like ThisDerrick travels to Sheridan, Illinois to help a camel named Moe. Due to his collapsed legs, Moe has been confined to his stall for four years and unable to go outside. For the first time, Derrick builds a set of braces for a 1500 pound camel.
