Before the Thin Controller goes to a meeting, he tells Peter Sam not to bother Victor with anything trivial when he arrives to make his weekly repair visit. So when Sir Handel starts creaking and croaking, Skarloey's funnel belches black smoke and Duncan's rods rattle, Peter Sam tries to fix all the engines himself and makes them even worse!
