A famous psychic from Egypt, Avetif, arrives at Conte del Mare with her two assistants to stay in Red Room for some days, so plenty of people have arrived to meet her and learn their fortunes. But the trio is actually thieves: Veta, her husband Aristos and Veta's voiceless sister have stolen a golden statluette of Buddha, which is hidden inside the room.
