Ian and his friends try to locate the person who left him a sympathetic note, but realize they have a second mystery when Headmaster responds strongly to an antiquated vacuum tube that Suki finds in a drawer. They soon realize that the two mysteries are connected, and the trail leads to a secret computer lab deep below Tower Prep.
