Trail of History explores the Hezekiah Alexander Homesite, built in 1774, the oldest house in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. This rock house is the last surviving home of a signer of the 1776 North Carolina Constitution and a building you can still visit. We see how the Charlotte Museum of History is redefining itself to best serve the region by making our history relevant, engaging and timely.
