Milo is soon joined by Danny in a post-apocalyptic future, where they are accused of quantum genocide, travelling through different realities with the stolen armband and killing people. They are put on trial and sentenced to death for the crimes perpetrated by their doubles, but they are rescued by Kate and Paul, locating another gateway where they confront the true killers before returning home for a final showdown with Callum.
