Ivanych and Sasha pick up what they believe is hydrochloric acid from a chemical depot, but due to negligence, an unstable and toxic substance is loaded into an uncooled tanker. In extreme heat, the cargo becomes highly dangerous, though the drivers are unaware as they head toward Cheboksary. The depot manager panics and tries to locate them without alerting authorities. Along the way, the truckers make an unexpected stop, and tensions rise as emergency services are finally drawn into the situation, turning a routine haul into a race against disaster.
