Ivanych and Sashok live by a strict moral code: they never ignore someone in need. After paying their respects at the site of a fatal accident involving fellow truckers, they spring into action to help villagers rescue livestock and belongings from a devastating fire. A local lieutenant mentions that this is the third suspicious fire in the area, leading the partners to suspect arson. The duo eventually spots three vagrants carrying gas cans near a fresh fire. After a chase, they capture two of the suspects and bring them to a local police captain, only to discover he was recently fired for digging too deep into the case. It turns out the fires were part of a land-grabbing scheme to sell cleared plots at auction. With the help of the former captain and an FSB colonel, the partners track down the final fugitive and expose the masterminds behind the conspiracy, leading to their arrest.
