While stopping at a motel, Ivan meets an influential man named Sergey Sergeyevich and secretly agrees to haul a high-paying load without telling Stanislav. Back at the base, the odometer reveals an extra 253 kilometers, leading to a major fallout. After a heated argument with his father, Ivan quits and goes to work for Sergey, only to realize he’s entangled with a criminal syndicate. Meanwhile, a suspicious newcomer named Kostya infiltrates the depot, gains the dispatcher's trust, and manages to become Stanislav’s partner—only to hijack the truck and its electronics. When the gang prepares to burn the stolen rig, Ivan recognizes his old KamAZ and heroically drives the flaming vehicle to safety. To save Ivan from prison and the mob, Fyodor and Stanislav team up with an investigator to frame Ivan's involvement as an "undercover operation." The scheme works: the kingpin is arrested, and Ivan's reputation is restored.
