At a checkpoint, corrupt officers plant drugs in Ivan and Stanislav’s truck. Stanislav notices and quickly disposes of them, leaving the police empty-handed during a follow-up search. Later, Major Kovalev asks the partners to act as "live bait" in a sting operation to expose a massive extortion ring. Equipped with hidden cameras and a cargo of decoy contraband, the truckers set out under SWAT protection. The sting initially succeeds, catching eight crooked officers. However, the ring is protected by General Yudin, who shuts down the operation, destroys the evidence, and arrests the partners to cover his tracks. The situation seems hopeless until a journalist named Marina reveals she made copies of the footage. She broadcasts the evidence on national television, leading to the general’s downfall and the partners' release.
