Walden feels it's time for a new start and a move to New York when he's served with divorce papers. Alan can't afford to lose his free ride again, so he convinces Walden to consult Charlie's therapist, Dr. Linda Freeman. She smells her own thrice-a-week meal ticket but saves Alan's bacon. Both housemates' spirits are lifted at a bar where they bump into Bridget Schmidt's lookalike Danny and her lesbian partner, out for some bi fun.
