Open the door, take a quick step through the terminal, put your bag in the jet and off you go. Above the clouds, Christoph Gröner reveals: Today his auditors have reported in. His company is now worth one billion euros. He is one of the richest people in the country. To those who have a lot to say in this country, but are usually silent. Christoph Gröner struggled with himself for a long time, then he agreed to be accompanied by his camera for seven months - in board meetings, on construction sites, privately. Germany is a rich and powerful country. But also a divided one. The assets here are distributed more unequally than in a few industrialized countries. The economy is doing well. But still the lower middle class has not succeeded in building up wealth in recent years.

One person who would like to build on a lot of land immediately is Christoph Gröner. The building contractor wants to build a new city district in Cologne. But the building permit is still missing, he is far too slow. Cologne's mayor, Henriette Reker, says: "A city is called upon to make land available, to issue building permits. But can't this go any faster? Building contractor Gröner demands that politics stop putting the brakes on him. Already the first two parts of "UNGLEICHLAND" accompanied the millionaire. How much power do people with lots of money have? Who decides what Germany should look like? The film "UNGLEICHLAND - Power" explores these questions. A recent study by the University of Princeton in the USA shows that a small, wealthy section of society sets the direction in politics.
