Can this blended family of three teenage girls and an eight-year-old boy work together to fulfil their parents dream? Or will life unplugged be too much? After viewing three off-the-grid homes, the Johnsons will pick one to live in and test out. The family will hunt for turkey, work on a farm, nurse a sick pig and have to live with no electronics. After four days unplugged will they go running back to Carolina or make a permanent off-the-grid move?
