Queer fashion chain manager Erwin enlists Joep Verboom to negotiate the Hein family's shop building, but the widow wants no change. Michael van Cleef wants to proclaim his love for Puck, she prefers more discretion. His presence triggers dark memories with Mounia, who tells only Bram that she suspects him of involvement in her father Aziz's death, and the fact that it was murder. Joep fears his wife's presumably unstoppable child-wish.
