Despite a barrage of tough talk from President Donald Trump, North Korea keeps launching ballistic missiles and threatening to use nuclear weapons against the United States. Trump has pledged to rein in Kim Jong Un’s regime, and called on China to help address the situation, but tensions are running high and there’s no easy solution in sight. VICE News editor Keegan Hamilton speaks with Ankit Panda, a senior editor at The Diplomat, and Dave Schmerler, a research associate at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies, about North Korea’s weapons program, what conflict would mean for the region, and Trump’s options for negotiating with Pyongyang.
