In the fancy-dress shop, Victor tells Hugo he can't go to the party as Count Duckula, to which Hugo replies "Aw, why not? I can do his voice, you know". Of course he can, they're both voiced by David Jason. 2. As Victor and Hugo are tunnelling out of the prison, they disturb a mole who says "Oh dear, I shall have to tell Badger!". This is a reference to "The Wind in the Willows".
