Katya Sokolova is a resuscitator at the hospital. She has a long-awaited wedding and the birth of a child ahead of her. But one day her future is threatened due to an accident. Returning home, Katya stands up for a girl who is being beaten by a man, and she herself is injured. She loses the child, the groom calls off the wedding and leaves. Katya files a report with the police, but the case is dropped.
