For some, living on a houseboat in the middle of Berlin is a lifelong dream. For others who can no longer afford the high rents, it is the last, albeit illegal, opportunity to stay in Berlin. And for others, such a berth awakens the instinct for lucrative real estate deals. A small harbor idyll with much sought-after houseboat berths is threatened by a large-scale harbor project and becomes the scene of a murder. Verena Lorenz, the new owner of the marina, is found dead. The WaPo Berlin team begins the investigation and initially targets the boat owners. Fahri finds himself in a conflict of conscience in this case - he is friends with Mia and Nico, two of the suspects.
