Out Here in the FieldsAfter finding out he has been kicked off the varsity lacrosse team, Chris packs up his locker and heads home. He runs into Madison, who tries to defend her situation. At home, Chris takes a call from his mom who, with little sympathy for his predicament, reminds him of his assignment to group therapy sessions. At his first session, Chris meets the rest of "The Wasteland," led by rebellious Verity Shaw. Suddenly, Chris is accosted by Damon, who threatens him to stay away from Madison. After contemplating the day's events at home, Chris receives some mysterious messages urging him to continue going to his therapy sessions. When he returns the next day, he is welcomed back by a cheerful Verity.
