Bob (Bud Spencer) and Joe (Philip Michael Thomas) are two tender hearted inmates imprisoned in a maximum security prison in Latin America. They constantly try to escape to no avail, but the persistent "work" eventually bears fruit as fortune smiles upon them: they manage to take two monk's robes and take refuge disguised as Father Bear and Father Zechariah. This is how their series of hilarious adventures begins.
