S4 • E17 Mar 26, 2001 50mAbdullah 'Appie' is blinded by a torpedo hitting the UAE ship he was sailing on. He bitterly refuses unfaithful Katja and Marco's help, but the crew insurance doesn't cover war risks. Marco works out Noordermeer-Driessen illegally converted El Houssa's 'cargo' ship from which the torpedo was accidentally fired, tells Charlotte and breaks in at Noordermeer with Katja to gather proof they release to the press. Max pretends he was fired because he refused the illegal conversion, backed up by Emma. Charlotte must resign, but probably still hasn't saved the wharf. She pays Appie 2,000,000. Sofie leaves Max.
