Bored with his housekeeping job, Tony successfully applies as manager in the kids' favorite, Beatles-theme mall diner. More for the cool crowd then for income, Samantha applies as waitress, and gets in because she alone pretends to accept Tony's demanding terms. Both do great, until Tony chases a star jock and thus the in-crowd, followed by the teenage sheep. The owner offers Sam promotion, provided she fires dad.
