Forgotten, abandoned, overgrown, inaccessible or hidden - HISTORY Germany's new in-house production ‘Wigald & Fritz - The History Hunters’ is dedicated to lost places: historical sites that have fallen into oblivion. Equipped with a map, camera, rucksack and plenty of curiosity, amateur researcher and history fan Wigald Boning and urban explorer and YouTuber Fritz Meinecke explore mysterious worlds. These seem to have fallen into a deep sleep, but behind their dilapidated facades they harbour fascinating stories and dark legends.
