Sameer is pacified by his mother, who is impressed by his hard work and determination. Then, the principal receives a call. The caller, hiding his identity, reveals that either Arjun or Sameer made a duplicate key to library's office in an attempt to pass the exams. Naina once again finds herself in a tough spot. Now, she has to reveal that Sameer is the one who had the key, in order to save Arjun.
